Excellent Idea and concept. Very usable for farmers, warehouse environments and the like, As with every device designed by a manufacture, someone out there without thinking before they speak will say that is too much money or etc.
I would buy one if it really holds up to its claims!
where did 5 miles come from? The makes no mention of distance. It talks about 250,000 sqft of coverage. If you put the base station at the center, and calculate PiR2, that gives a radius of 282 feet – nothing near 5 miles.

this thing has been around for a long time. so much for waiting to get a used one on ebay now that the gadget barbarians will be invading. They are already very popular among farmers and those with ranches. I have a friend who uses it all around the downtown even. Excellent if you can find one for a good price.
